Premises to Ideology

Premise:  a statement or idea that is accepted as being true and that is used as the basis of an argument

These are the premises to the Utopian States:

  1. There exists a state/government/society that is nearly perfect for each person.
  2. No state/government/society will be perfect for all.
  3. Most people will covet a state that absolutely protects the right to life.
  4. Most people will covet a state that absolutely protects the right to absolute ownership of those things necessary for life or access to those essentials.
  5. Most people will covet a state that protects their rights.
  6. Most people will covet justice that values restitution over punishment.
  7. Most people will covet justice that values prophylaxis over vengeance and punishment.
  8. Most people will covet justice that is based on facts.
  9. Most people will covet justice that in contracts and wills logically follows the intent of the signatories.
  10. Most people will covert justice that values minimal prophylactic measures to prevent  harm.
  11. Most people will value a capitalistic system that proportionately rewards people for production.
  12. Most people will want to have some effect on government via representation, direct democracy, capitalism, or a lottocracy.
  13. Most people will want a taxation system where people pay a graduated tax on their income that is proportional to their wealth.  Those in the top ten percent wealth wise, would pay income taxes that were percentage wise also in the top ten percent.
  14. Most people will want those that directly invest in projects benefiting the public welfare or infrastructure to have the predominant say in the administration of those projects.
