Citizens of the Utopian States appreciate differences. They believe that survival and evolution are best served by keeping alive a large pool of different but viable, ideas, genes, philosophies, businesses, religions, governments, etc. The government of the Utopian States deliberately tries to cultivate uniqueness by providing standardization that is sufficient only to keep unique groups and things working together as a unified whole. Government also tries to nurture good businesses even if they are slightly less profitable than the most profitable businesses.

Cultivated Uniqueness includes:

  • Unique and different races and cultures. By nurturing a diverse genetic pool, our species will survive and be healthy for millenniums.
  • Unique and diverse businesses. By nurturing businesses that produce artistically pleasing, quality, or hand crafted goods, the Utopian States frequently keeps alive businesses that have a knack of evolving into the leading businesses of tomorrow.
Cultivated Uniqueness does NOT include:
  • Cloning the human species or by the creation of a 'Superior Race'.
  • Establishing huge monopolistic businesses.
